We collect materials for recycling, which we thoroughly test, disassemble, and recycle or refurbish to divert them from landfills. We strictly adhere to sustainability best practices and ensure compliance with EPA guidelines and local laws by exploring all possible end markets. Our goal is to maintain the integrity of our environment and offer affordable technology to our community by keeping as many materials as possible in circulation. If we cannot reuse or refurbish any materials, we reintroduce them into circulation as raw materials by processing them through our R2, ISO, and OHSAS Certified partners.

As the recycling climate continues to shift in the world, rest assured ACE Recycling works very hard to find responsible partners to recycle more and more material. We only work with like-minded companies to ensure the integrity of our environment by researching and vetting recycling partners. This tenacity allowed us to find partners to recycle challenging items like ink, toner, and TVs.

At ACE Recycling, we aim to provide sustainable, reliable, and affordable technology options while addressing accessibility barriers and the environmental issues caused by non-biodegradable toxins and the manufacturing process of our technology. Our services include selling pre-built, refurbished laptops, custom-building PCs or laptops to customers’ specifications, and upgrading existing devices. We also use refurbished electronics in our office. Everything here is used, refurbished, built by hand, or hand-me-down.

We educate the community about the environmental effects of electronic waste using various community outreach methods. In addition, we educate our employees on recycling practices to reduce waste and promote sustainability in the office and at home.  

To reduce paper consumption we use digital options such as email and online payments, as well as sustainable marketing, with electronic correspondence, with no paper fliers or mailers, to avoid using paper, reducing our carbon footprint. In addition to making our company as paper-free as possible, we receive paperless correspondence and statements from all the companies we are customers of. We reuse paper and retrieve paper left in copiers and printers for recycling to minimize waste and promote sustainability. Even though businesses do not recieve recycling pick-up in our area, all household recycling accumulated in the break room and office is taken to a recycling facility.  Additionally, we reuse boxes for shipping that are 100% recyclable and reusable versus having branded boxes and shipping materials.

To reduce energy we turn off lights, the A/C, and heaters when not in use, and we shut down computers over weekends.  Additionally, we shut down the Destroyinator when not in use.   

To reduce water use, ACE Recycling uses a bottle-less water system to minimize plastic waste and reduce our carbon footprint.   

ACE Recycling works to minimize fuel consumption through efficient logistics to reduce our carbon footprint.  Our pick-up scheduling is done specifically with fuel consumption in mind.
