ACE Recycling is an ultra-small business with only three employees, plus husband and wife owners Shelby and John Maguire. With a business that small a couple of things are vital, strong communication and a lot of teamwork. All of us at ACE Recycling wear many hats and often take on new responsibilities as we grow and improve. No one has met this challenge more than the ACE Recycling office manager, Charlie Houston. When Shelby and John took over the business they “inherited” Charlie and nothing has been more valuable! We would like to take the time to introduce Charlie so you can put a face to the voice you hear when you call ACE.
Charlie has many responsibilities at ACE Recycling but her most important is customer service. She answers the phone and is on the other end of the info email address. She coordinates the pick-up schedule, manages your customer portal and the ticket that you receive once you have scheduled a pick-up. She takes this very seriously and her number one priority is making sure reports are uploaded in a timely manner. She maintains the “flow” of ACE Recycling with our customers always being the number one priority. She is invested in ACE Recycling. As such, she is never afraid of a challenge, staying late to finish a project or learning new things. We are lucky to have her!
I have over 20 years of experience with Customer Service from restaurant to receptionist and everything in between. I enjoy making people smile and feel the best way to do that is to provide a hassle-free customer service experience. I’m the Head of Amazingness here at ACE Recycling, from answering the phones and scheduling your pick-ups to wiping hard drives and sending out reports. I enjoy learning new things, which comes in handy when you’re working with computers. In my spare time, I enjoy reading books and cooking.
